  17. I tried this out and it worked wonderfully! I misjudged how much powdered sugar I had and wound up not having enough, but I thought fast and used some sweet rice flower leftover from a mochi project. 😀 (Not the most ideal substitute, a little grainy, but it's a good emergency substitute) Thanks for sharing this!

I'm going to make this but I don't have a lot of marshmallows so I'm going to do only half. I'll edit how it turns out
    Edit: it's pretty good

  25. I wouldnt mind making this for a cake but I would probably end up eating it before it ever saw the cake 😅

  28. Lashana Gomes-Cornelius

I am now checking out your video and I am glad I did. I myself am not a big fan of the regular fondant taste, but the other day I tasted a slice of wedding cake made with marshmallow fondant. That was the first time tasting this version of fondant icing, it was delicious. I recognized the marshmallow texture and flavor right away. In Guyana, where I am from, wedding cakes are usually made from a "Black Cake" recipe, a type of rich fruit cake which is soaked for several days in Guyanese rum. In my opinion, this type of cake with the pairing of marshmallow fondant is absolutely perfect.

Good job thank you so much 🙏🏼😇👍

  31. Mouse Scribner

This is wild i always thought the fondant she used was that gross stuff but its marshmallows????? My soul has been saved from the slight disgust every time she uses fondant 😅😅

  32. This recipe didn't work for me. 1. It tastes like powdered sugar, not marshmallows. 2. It absorbs moisture out of the air if the relative humidity is above maybe 40%, so it doesn't keep its shape. Remember Nickelodeon Gak? It turns into that. I used Jet Puffed marshmallows and powdered sugar (which is corn starch and fine sugar).

I wanted to use it on my Easter cake, good thing I had back up Cream Cheese Frosting.

  33. I love her cute voice

  34. Natalie Boitel

Can you add extracts and flavoring to this recipe? Like coconut or raspberry extract/flavoring?

  35. Where can I get the book

  36. makoto misaka

I gotta ask, what if you dont have gel food coloring, cuz the only food coloring i have at home is the liquid one

  37. I love using fondant. I look forward to making marshmallow fondant.
    Thank you Tracey

Thanks for the video.I love it.

  39. Hello.
I just saw you video. Great idea. I was wondering if you can use that Fondant on any tipe of cake.
And can you put the cake in the refrigerator? Normal Fondant you are not suppose to put in the fridge, cause it melts away.
    Lots of greetings from Germany.😊

  40. Didn't see a reply on how long this can be made in advance or how to specifically store it. Any help in this matter would be appreciated. Thanks! 😋
