Why no measure for ingredients?
Due to supply chain issues, I was unable to find organic mayonnaise. So I’m going to try this today.

It pissed me off every time I watch this video and try. It fails every freakin time!!!! I do it EXACTLY to the ingredient drop and it always fails. I have the proper cup size, FAIL. Tried adding the boiling water and that FAILED. Tried adding the egg another time and that FAILED. I just want to scream!!!!…..lol……The real video needs to be on the immersion blender because obviously it needs to be a certain speed or it will never work.
What good is it if you don't give any measurements?

Been making mayo a long time. This is an EXCELLENT basic tutorial. Make it this way for a lifetime and you'll be fine. However, a couple things I've learned along the way: First, you do not have to observe any hard and fast rules about how to blend. It's fine to keep the stick blender on the bottom of the jar until the emulsion rises to the top of the oil, but you do not have to. Just to experiment I've started the blender on top, bottom, middle….ran it up and down the entire time…and I've never noticed any difference at all. In the end the goal is to mix the egg and oil thoroughly. Secondly, the mayo will last WAY longer than 3-4 days in the fridge, assuming your fridge is 40 degrees F or cooler. Home mayo makers don't use preservatives, but even so I've kept my mayo 2-4 weeks with no ill effects. Your mileage may vary. I tend to run my fridge cooler than many people.

Does it have to be with a stick blender? I dont have one. I just have a normal blender thats similar to the nutribullet. Will it work the same?

I just tried with olive oil (mustard/lemon//vinegar/egg/salt) & don't like it. It tastes terribly like olives. I've never bought avacado oil in my life or even tasted it, but just got some off amazon I hope it tastes somewhat neutral.
After watching this video…. I’ll never and I mean never ever buy mayonnaise anywhere again, I mean they probably feeding me cheap oil for all I care.
